Easily outlasts the plastic and copper pan scrubbers in the grocery store. The pads are large and last a long time. A dozen of these will probably last you more than twenty years, I have been using one for almost two years now and it mostly still holds it shape (it's a little elongated rather than round). It has never failed to scrub out even the most burnt on food. Just burn popcorn to the side of your pan to find out how hard burnt on food is to remove, this pad does it easily.
