The only thing bad about this item is that it arrived bent. The inner lid is oval instead of round and you have to jam it in to get it to fit. But over time that should fix itself. Otherwise, it's a darling little piece of India in my kitchen, and I have it filled with several spices I use often for Indian cooking, like fennel, mustard seeds, cumin, cayenne and coriander. My only other comment is I wish it was bigger, or that I had bought two.

I ordered this after reading the favorable reviews, but the item I received did not appear to be like anything what other people got- Mine had no inner lid, and the single lid was so tight, you cannot remove it without ending up with a pile of spices all over you and your kitchen. I will buy a dabba elsewhere for sure.

I opened the box and saw the gleaming metal, but the glass look all scratched up. On closer inspection, I found it was a protective plastic cover on the underside of the glass to keep it beautiful. This is exactly as represented and about 1/2 the cost I found in stores near me. Great Buy!
