it's big, kinda round with a flat bottom, holds a lot of stuff, and wasn't too expensive. Shiny on the inside and the outside, for ease of cleaning. Looks just like a bowl, too! And if you have a big head you can wear it to protect your mind from the government mind control rays. Or wash small babies.

This is a huge bowl, perfect for people who do a lot of canning. We do a lot of canning in the summer time, and use this bowl to hold chopped veggies, juices and more. It's also good for make large batches of bread or cookie dough! Not the highest quality stainless steel, but for the price it is well worth it.

We love these bowls when we are mixing dry kibble with a can of wet food and can usually get about 6 to 8 cups of dry and one can of wet food (13oz) and mix it perfectly without spilling food over the edges. We buy several of these at a time, they wash up great and are not too big for the diswahser for sterilization. So far they are holding up wonderfully and we would recommend this product to anyone wanting a large mixing bowl that can take a beating. We bought several so the shipping wasn't too bad once divided up per bowl.

My husband kept wishing for big bowls like he had some years ago, so I finally got him some. Now he has a set of Monster Bowls!! These are almost as big as a small dishpan. I got two, which is probably the reason they arrived without a dent, even though they were shipped in the original cheap corrugated factory box from (insert foreign country here) with no packing materials except for the thin plastic bag covering each bowl. My husband is thrilled, being of the "bigger is better" mentality, so they will suit our needs perfectly and look like they are sturdy enough to last quite a while. Like other reviewers, I find them "disturbingly large", and have no idea where we will store them, probably in a huge XL Ziploc in the garage. Mine arrived with dried bugs in them as well, so do yourself a favor and open them outside.

The bowl in the picture on Amazon is not what was sent.
First, the Bowl I received has a high polished shine, the bowl pictured appears to have a brushed finish.
Second, the rim on the bowl I received sticks out about 1/2 inch, The rim on the bowl pictured appears to be 1/4 inch wide.... This does not affect the purpose of the bowl but Im not using it for its purpose and I ordered from this seller based on the picture displayed.

My 8 year old measured fairly carefully and got 23 quarts of water in it as it
started to spill over.

It isn't really thicker than your average bowl so at this size, it seems like it
might get dented or collapse if you put really heavy stuff in it like marbles
to clean but it held up to being full of water just fine.

Its like a normal mixing bowl but simply gigantic. It will never fit into the dish
washer.

I needed a bowl big enough to make four loaves of bread. I knead right in the bowl and avoid a mess. It's perfect! It also arrived quickly and no shipping cost.

Pro: The item arrived quickly and in perfect condition, and the price is quite reasonable.
If you want a really big stainless steel bowl, this is a good choice.

Con: It's bigger than advertised - too big to be useful. It's not worth the shipping to send it back.
It's supposed to be a 20 quart bowl (no dimensions given); the one I got was 24 quarts, and about 18-1/2 inches wide on the outside of the rim (17-1/2 inside diameter). I can't even keep it in the kitchen because it's so big, and my wife finds it disturbingly large.

It might be that different buyers will get different products; mine was packaged in a very sloppy and amateur-looking way, and it looked like it was a one-off surplus item. So you might get a 20 qt bowl, who knows?

This bowl is hugh. I do a lot of cooking projects for school and church. It is perfect for crowd cooking and serving.

Love this bowl -- just what i was looking for -- excellent for mixing those large batches in the kitchen during the holidays or family gatherings
