Blue 20oz Stainless Steel Reusable Water Bottle w/ Hiking Clip

I received this today and immediately returned it. The beautiful blue paint started to peel off around the mouth of this bottle with the slightest touch. It's a waste of time ordering this.

The idea of this is great - great size, no plastic (including on the mouthpiece) but the actual product is junk. One of the main problems is that the blue finish peels and flakes off quickly and in large amounts. The second problem is that the top is almost impossible to close properly which has meant a number of spills in my bag. A waste of money.

Granted, this bottle is about half the price of many others, but as previously noted, the paint started chipping around the mouth when I rinsed it before first use. The seal on the lid also appears to be a bit flimsy. I did not send it back, I just peeled the rest of the paint on the mouth of the bottle, and the rest of the paint seems to be okay. It will probably do the job just fine, but I cannot recommend it, unless you get a version that is not painted.

I am not impressed at all with this bottle, the paint as reported by others peels almost on its own. How sanitary can that be? In addition this is a lower grade of steel and dings very easily. I had intend to get a cheaper stainless steel bottle for my bicycle and thought this might do the trick, I was wrong. Saver your money on this cheap imitation.

We have 5 of these--4 colors and one plain stainless steel. The paint has started coming off the painted ones, even with hand washing. The bottles also dent easily, and the paint starts to chip off wherever there is a dent.

The plain stainless steel bottle is OK to run through the dishwasher, and although it has a few dents, it still looks OK.

If you screw the lids on slowing and carefully, they do not leak.

The mouths of the bottles are narrow enough (unlike other bottles) that you don't spill water down the front of you when drinking.

I like the price on this bottle, but stick with the plain stainless steel bottle, not the colored ones.

At the gym, bottle is just the right amount of water. And you don't get the water bottles mixed up with the other 100 bottles there....

What I TOTALLY don't understand, is why a huge company such as Amazon would continue to carry this item after these reviews...........
