Excellent book for an Architecture of Interior design student
If you are doing your studio classes, like I was, this book is full of very helpful ideas. I love it and use it after graduation.

While it has a nice smallish format, this book is poorly organized, provides little insight into the advantages and disadvantages of the various stair types and thinly spreads a few types across the many pages to little beneficial effect. While it has a nice smallish format, this book is poorly organized, provides little insight into the advantages and disadvantages of the various stair types and thinly spreads a few types across the many pages to little beneficial effect. The photos often reveal little of the form and when multiple views are used, they tend not to be well differentiated. Finally, with no real detailing, little mention of code and no view of history, this is merely a simple picturebook.
