Compared to the stuff I was buying at three times the price at my local JoAnne's, this Beeswax is ultra high quality for a third of the per pound price. The color is a lot brighter and more vibrant and the wax just seems cleaner.

There is one drawback that might affect some, but not myself, and that is the honey scent on this is weak. It has a light pleasant scent that doesn't smell like honey to me. I can only smell it when I put my nose to the wax, and I can't smell it at all when it burns.

As I use Beeswax primarily for it's superior light and burn times, this is not an issue for me. The far superior clean and color of this wax is visually obvious when compared side by side with the stuff from the craft shop. It makes it really hard to care much about the weaker scent.

Stakich customer service is also outstanding and they are now my primary source for beeswax.

Very good quality, pure and fresh-smelling beeswax. I used this to make soap, chapstick, and lip gloss. I would assulutely order this again.

Just received the wax today and have not used it yet. The product description said it is two 1 lb. blocks, therefore I assumed I was ordering two blocks. I received one large block. I assume it weighs about 2 lbs. As others said it is not hex shaped, it is a rectangular block. For most of us these things may not be issues of concern, but I am writing this review because I feel as though I received something other than what I ordered.

I use this material to burnish the sides of my finished leather goods, to lube my punches, and to use as a water repellent on hardened leather armor and shields. It's inexpensive and high quality, and I recommend it for any beeswax related projects you may have. Because some of you are incredibly fussy, be advised that the product does not look like the picture, but the weight is accurate.

This is the best-priced beeswax I've come across and the quality didn't disappoint me. I use it for candles and bath and body products and I'm very happy with it! The beeswax I received does have a faint honey odor when it burns.

I use this for making lip balm and lotion. I just love it. It smells so great I don't feel the need to use any essential oils for scent!

As the other reviewers said, it comes as two rectangular blocks instead of hexagons. I was pleased with the product as I think its a great deal for 2lbs. Also came on time.

i used this to make a food grade oil treatment for my butcher block. great stuff and very great price.

I wanted to make lip balms as new year gifts. I ordered it on Dec20. But I didn't receive it until Jan2. The wax is long rectangular shape not what's shown in the picture. The color is also a lot darker, more like brown instead of yellow. It's very hard to cut into small pieces. I would recommend small beeswax pellets if you want to make lip balms, which is much easier to melt.
