The bottom line of this book is that the victim cannot solve the problem of stalking, short of extreme measures comparable to going into a witness protection program. Outside forces MUST intervene. If you are a victim of stalking, this book is an invaluable resource for mustering the outside assistance you need to survive.

Consequently, whether someone is stalking you, or you are responsible for the safety of others who might be stalked, this book is invaluable. Its anecdotes illustrate the dangers of ignoring these problems, and reveals the scientifically proven ways to protect the targets of stalkers.

This book also describes the problem of what might be called "reverse stalkers."

Strangely enough, some stalkers present themselves to the authorities as the victims of stalking when in reality the reverse is true. This puts the victim in the position of being under attack by both the stalker and the authorities. This book illuminates this problem, and points out ways for the authorities to determine who is the stalker and who is the victim.

I personally have been in this "reverse stalker" situation. I am grateful to this book for learning how to methodically, and without fear, work the system to protect myself.
