This review is from: The Stalking Time (Traveler) (Paperback)
many of these books are intereating enough without gutter talk.the story developement is strong enough without so much garbage-this belongs in the city dump.some of the best combat people i have known have never used profanity in front of women and children or in writing.undue profanity does not make a book better,it just proves the author can not express himself in better descriptive terms,so he reverts to the gutter,or he might think his readers live in the gutter.you young people might find it useful to take a pen and draw through every profane word.as a combat veteran, with decorations for valor,i can tell you that profanity does not make you a better person-and gutter talk does not make a better book.and it will not make you a better solder, worker, bank teller, airline pilot,parent,etc.-----richard-combat veteran-from south georgia.
