The lead is not a hero by any means and his redeeming qualities only develop rather late in the film.
The movie does have a little different approach but the bottom line is that it's a low budget offering with some pacing issues, ok acting and pretty lame zombies..
From there the movie is him trying to get out of the bathroom stall after the zombies take over the bathroom.
