The lead is not a hero by any means and his redeeming qualities only develop rather late in the film.

The movie does have a little different approach but the bottom line is that it's a low budget offering with some pacing issues, ok acting and pretty lame zombies..

From there the movie is him trying to get out of the bathroom stall after the zombies take over the bathroom.

Meh. One of a myriad of zombie movies that's come out in the past few years. It's not awful, and for a small budget film it has quite good production values (sort of tv+), but honestly I think they would have been better off making a different movie. One, say, with a plot. No real surprises, lots of very typical zombie tropes . . . mildly funny in parts, but . . . free on Amazon Prime, and I couldn't sit through the whole thing, but skipped through it repeatedly. If I had paid for it specifically, I would have given it one star.

This movie is just okay... nothing really great. Crude humor, unlikeable main character, and slow plot. Some "giggle" worthy moments, but nothing special.

I would not watch again

During the company Christmas Party WC (Dan Palmer) is doing repairs in the ladies room. He ends up in a stall as he watches two women go from lovers to one eating the other. Zombies congregate in the same ladies room as WC fortifies his stall and plans his escape.

The film is consumed with dialog between WC and Heather (Antonia Bernath) in another stall. When the dialog was great, the film was good. Unfortunately the conversation needed to be shortened and more time spent on zombie action. The comedy is front loaded.

An enjoyable zombie film that won't please everyone.

Parental Guide: F-bomb. Brief beginning F/F action, brief nudity.

A lot of viewers did not like this movie. I say to each there own. This is not a great zombie movie but it has it's moments if you're willing to see it through to the end. I would recommend people to just give it a try. I prefer this movie over House of the Dead which I thought was one of the worst movies that I have ever seen! Anyway just try it and see, you might be pleasantly surprised.

Stalled is a Uk Zombie comedy with the typical Brit humor that many in the US either like, don't get or just plain don't like. The story revolves around two people trapped in the women's restroom during their Christmas office/building party. One is an office worker named Evie* (Payne)? and the other is a building janitor named W.C. (Palmer). W.C. has been naughty (I won't say why or how) and gets trapped in the women's restroom first by two women who seemed to be attracted to one another and then??? happens and now he is just trying to survive alone with a growing number of Zombies when all of a sudden he hears a woman's voice. The two talk and plan an escape and find out about each others lives, but is W.C. really talking to his dream girl? or is it someone else? Now you have an idea of what the story is about.
I almost turned the movie off at about the 10 minute mark give or take a few minutes, when it started to get interesting just after the two girls started to make out and just after they were interrupted by an annoying coworker. The humor was funny in places (not bust a gut funny, but funny) and some of the scenes where W.C was interacting with the Zombies was original and funny. The drug induced vision scenes were pretty good as well with one scene that reminded me of a few skits from The Drew Cary Show (you will know when you see it). The big problem for me was the writing and pacing and how uneven it was with some funny and unique scenes followed by scenes that dragged. This wasn't a stellar movie nor was it off the wall hilarious, but one that you can watch in its entirety or fast forward to the better scenes if you get to bored. 3 weak stars.

The premise of Stalled is pretty lame, average guy gets stuck in the ladies restroom during the zombie apocalypse. A child in elementary school could come up with that, so my expectations were not super high to say the least. And in the first quarter of the movie it seemed like I was right, and was this close (my finger and thumb are an inch apart) to turning it off. But I decided to give it a little longer and was very surprised with how this stupid, ridiculous, and immature movie actually turned into a very decent film, with terrific character development. The two characters stuck in the bathroom (in different stalls of course) are the focus of the film, and they are written and acted perfectly. Stalled was able to make me hate each of them at times, and love them and will them to survive at others. By the time it was nearing the finale I was hooked on the edge of my seat. I also want to say that this movie is funny as hell. Not so much in the beginning, but later on it is absolutely hilarious. It's almost a tale of two movies, I think if you can get past the first twenty-five minutes or so you will be pleasantly surprised, I am glad I still had that inch between my thumb and finger.....I would have missed out.

Only OK, not great, not horrible. Something of an indie (read lower budget) "zombile comedy". Definitely more on the comedy side as the scares are lacking. The lead is not a hero by any means and his redeeming qualities only develop rather late in the film. There are actually some nice "sweet" moments that have an "aw" factor but sadly they don't work that well considering the final circumstances of the film.

The credits at both ends of the film are overly long. Plot points take too long to develop. Ultimately the film is fairly nihilistic which detracts from its comedy value. Still, there are some good parts and the interaction between the "trapped" characters has moments of brilliance. Worth a watch as a Prime member but not worth paying a lot to see.
