I wish I could say you get what you pay for. Unfortunately, with some products, this is not the case. Nearly all supplies of this tool, no matter what brand and model number, come from the same Chinese garage. Price varies widely by the vendor, as does quality from one unit to the next. Having played with several of these, unless you specifically know that the tool is NOT an off-brand, made in China (or "no brand", as the case may be) exercise caution when ordering. Don't assume that higher price means better quality--check the description and photos carefully and order the cheapest of basically identical products. You may get lucky. If not, it's usually cheap enough not to worry about it. On the other hand, professional spanners, if you can afford them, are much better. Some of these came in molder plastic cases, some in wooden crates with foam inserts, some in plastic or cardboard box with parts loosely packed in greasy plastic bags inside. Unfortunately, the kind you get is completely unpredictable--a friend ordered one that claimed to be in a wooden box and got a plastic bag with smelly parts; we ordered generic unlabeled kind and got one in a wood crate with plastic holder inside (not foam). The tool is useful, when it works. If the case is sufficiently pliable, it will take care of it. If the seal is ceased, there is nothing you can do. I've opened two back with this tool and was unable to open the third. Oh, well--it was only $7.

I had gotten tired of taking my watch to a jeweler to have a watch battery changed. I saw this on here and I figured why not. Changed the batteries in 5 watches and it worked great. It slipped once, but I had to make an adjustment on it so the bits were snug on the back of the watch. At $10 per watch to change the batteries, it has paid for itself already. The case is also nice. It's real wood, not plastic with wood veneer. It has slots for 4 sets of bits for the wrench. If you want a wrench that gets it done, buy this one!!

The tool worked very well. It comes with an assortment of tips to fit various watches. The tips snaps securely into place. this allows the user to make use of the tool in any position. The wooden case is a nice touch. It keeps the tool and the tips secure. I must mention that this tool does not come with any operating instructions. However, I am handy and this was not a problem for me (I suspect that folks that order this is because they are do it your self type persons). The use of the tool is quite intuitive. With the first watch battery that I changed today, I have already paid for 2/3 of the cost of the tool and a new battery versus taking the watch to a jeweler. With the next battery change, I'll be ahead of the game.

This tool is very easy to use. Pins snap into position and the tool then allows for both vertical and horizontal adjustments to be made for any watch size. Well made and comes in a wood case that helps contain the small pins and the tool itself.

The Wrench works well for what it is, and the price you pay. If you are working on an expensive watch I would suggest looking at a more sophisticated wrench. The first back I tried to remove was very difficult. The wrench slipped a couple of times, leaving scratch marks on the back. This is not a big deal to me, but to others it may be. The wood storage box is very nice. The inserts remain in place when the lid is closed, so long as the box remains horizontal. With the lid closed, when the box is turned upside down or at a 90 degree angle all of the inserts fall out. Overall I am very satisfied, and the price was right.

I returned this. There were no instructions and the tool had a lot of oil all over it. i returned this.
I found a youtube video showing how to use, but it didn't work for my Swiss Army watch. None of the
bits fit. Description said it included 4 sets of bits, 2 of the sets were the same.
