I learned about Stamitz from a lecture series on DVD. The teacher played an excerpt from the Synphony in A and I liked it. This second disk has some good stuff too. I liked the Synphonia Pastorale. Altogether I find classical era music that is not Hydn or Mozart rather dry, but it is pleasant music nmonetheless.
