Stan's solos-- and nothing else,

This review is from: Stan Getz - Bossa Novas: Tenor Saxophone (Paperback)
This gives you the tenor sax part extracted from 23 of Stan Getz's recordings. As far as I can tell, it does a good job of capturing the solos. Caution: it gives you no clue about what anybody else is doing. It isn't the score for the whole band. Thus the transcription of "Desafinado" starts with 4 measures of rest followed by 8 measures of rest. Similarly, "So Danço Samba" starts with 34 measures of rest. The transcription shows chords (by chord name) only where the sax is actually playing. So the transcriptions are useful if you're playing along with a recording, or have access to the full score, but are otherwise rather difficult to use.
