I thought I'd like this because of its vertical design; I was disappointed. First, only one side of the pencil seemed to sharpen properly. I've tried twisting as it was sharpening, but it didn't help. Second the container that holds the shavings fills after about 3 sharpenings; then it continues to fill and back up into the blades. Not worth the extra money.
