Once again Donna Clayton has deftly blended, realism and romance to produce a story full of hope, inspiration and smiles. As a reader I can't get enough of her stuff as an author... Once more, Donna Clayton delivers a solid evening of reading. Ms Clayton is warm, funny, and romantic. I am never disappointed when I lay down my money for one of her books. As a professional woman and reader of romance for more years than I want to admit, I count Ms Clayton as an all time favorite. This book is another hit, and one I purchased to give as gifts after I'd finished the last delightful page.

Donna Clayton's Mother & Child series has an excellent start with The Stand-By Significant Other. Being the parent of a teen-age girl isn't easy (ask me...I know!). This book's heroine gets into some funny predicaments with her rebellious daughter in this book. It's an excellent read!
