Stand in the Gap: For your children by Norvel Hayes
(This book is by Norvel Hayes not Rosemary Smith.) God pointed this book out to me in a christian bookstore when my 15 year old was using first marajuana and then LSD. When your children need spiritual guidance..................
Provides better understanding and greater inspiration to pray for your children when they need it most. Provides powerful testimony of how Norvel Hayes learned to "stand in the gap" for his daughter, with her own story of the years that God used her father to pray her back into a close relationship with Jesus Christ. Includes five scripturally based prayers.

He was such a talented young son and had been raised in a christian home and attended a christian school until high school. We were devastated. The truths Norvel Hayes learned through his own daughter's rebellion helped us have hope and learn how to pray and love our child unconditionally. I highly recommend this book to any parent with a mixed up teenager. God turned our son completely and totally back to him by age 17. His life is a testimony of God's love and grace.Stand in the Gap: For Your Children

Although this book is small (read it in one afternoon) and has good testimony, it seemed to me to be somewhat lacking in 'how to' information. I found it encouraging and especially like the prayers in the back, though.
