This has a cool, bluesy feel that DOES NOT sound like lame classic rock stuff that you'd find on baby boomer radio. Instead, it's stripped down blues with a Yardbirds feel kind of channeled with post-Clash sensibility.

This disc goes down mellow, and makes you want to shake your booty. There's a lot of soul and space in this mix, with a hint of Motown and R&B thrown in for your listening pleasure. Good beats, easy on the ear, but not altogether awesome. I'll listen to it for a few more weeks, then probably re-visit it in a couple of months to see if it's a keeper.
