Pricey but worth it,
By Marc (Austin, TX) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Standard Basque: A Progressive Grammar (Current Studies in Linguistics) (Vol. 1) (Hardcover)
If you've worked through Alan King's The Basque Language and are at a level where you'd like a more thorough understanding of the delicious intricacies of Basque morphology and syntax, this book is the eight-course meal you've been looking for. Yes, the bill will give you indigestion, but Routledge is as always a solicitous server, and if you consider the amount of material you're getting (a thousand pages' worth), it's actually very reasonably priced.

This comprehensive book on Basque isn't for the casual reader or dilettante with a surface interest in Basque. For anyone wishing to exhaust what's known about Basque, it's a great book to own.
