1.0 out of 5 stars This can't be what it says it is, November 29, 2009
This book claims to be a paperback, OCR'd edition (?) of "The Standard Edition of the Complete Psychological Works of Sigmund Freud" (Paperback)??? I don't believe there is any "paperback" edition of "The Standard Edition of the Complete Psychological Works of Sigmund Freud". If there were, it would be 24 volumes long! This item is listed as 246 pages! What on earth is this book? Don't see how it could possibly be what it purports to be. I just can't imagine what it really is. Buyer beware.

5.0 out of 5 stars Terrific collection of Freud material for any Undergraduate, January 14, 1999
By A Customer
I think this is a terrific compilation of Freud material that would be helpful to any psychology student pursuing psychoanalysis and a search for knowledge in the subject of psychology. The author does a tremendous job of picking the most important works of Freud and putting them in a proper reading order for the less experienced student. I think that the author should be commended for his work in translating and interpreting this material, and I would recomend this to anyone, no matter what the cost! I think this may be the best and most valuable set of books you could ever buy.

3.0 out of 5 stars response to previous reveiw, July 26, 2001
By A Customer
The 'author' of Freud's S.E. IS Freud ! ! and of course it's a useful reference book for any undergraduate student of psychoanalysis, Freud is still papa of the discipline and anyone interested in being involved in any discourse concerning psychoanalysis needs to be familiar with the man's work.
