This can't be what it says it is,
This review is from: The Standard Edition of the Complete Psychological Works of Sigmund Freud (Volume 4) (Paperback)
This book claims to be a paperback, OCR'd edition (?) of "The Standard Edition of the Complete Psychological Works of Sigmund Freud" (Paperback)??? I don't believe there is any "paperback" edition of "The Standard Edition of the Complete Psychological Works of Sigmund Freud". If there were, it would be 24 volumes long! This item is listed as 246 pages! What on earth is this book? Don't see how it could possibly be what it purports to be. I just can't imagine what it really is. Buyer beware.

This review is from: The Complete Psychological Works of Sigmund Freud (The Standard Edition) (Vol. 1-24 Volume Set) (Complete Psychological Works of Sigmund Freud) (Hardcover)
I think this is a terrific compilation of Freud material that would be helpful to any psychology student pursuing psychoanalysis and a search for knowledge in the subject of psychology. The author does a tremendous job of picking the most important works of Freud and putting them in a proper reading order for the less experienced student. I think that the author should be commended for his work in translating and interpreting this material, and I would recomend this to anyone, no matter what the cost! I think this may be the best and most valuable set of books you could ever buy.

The 'author' of Freud's S.E. IS Freud ! ! and of course it's a useful reference book for any undergraduate student of psychoanalysis, Freud is still papa of the discipline and anyone interested in being involved in any discourse concerning psychoanalysis needs to be familiar with the man's work.

I doubt very much either one of those two read this prolific collection. Good luck finding any Psyche student reading this thing, much less anyone else. There are far better, less expensive, works by Dr. Freud that won't drain your pocket. This is probably more a of a collector's item... that is if you can find it. Thanks!
