I took O-chem about 5 years ago and watching these tapes provides just enough to jog my brain into remembering the basic concepts. Best of all it's much easier and MUCH less painful than using a study guide.

Students who are easily bored with chemistry videos were glued to this one. They universally expressed appreciation for the fun presentation and step-by-step information. This video, as well as the other two in the organic chemistry series, were so well received that I am ordering another series by the Standard Deviants.

This will absolutely help reinforce and clear up concepts from your organic chemistry course. I feel like I'm pretty smart, but there were some areas where I felt like the classroom instruction was lacking and I had a little confusion with some areas. These videos straightened me right out! But FYI - you can't use them instead of class - you should still read the book and go to class. Still, I'm really glad I got them and relieved because I'm not lost on anything now. They're also not too long, and everything is broken up with silliness here and there to keep you from feeling overloaded. Works like a charm.
