4.0 out of 5 stars A must-have for a beginner due to volume of color photos, July 9, 1999
By A Customer
For a first time purchase of a reference book on Carnival Glass, this book is a must, due to the volume of color photos. (It loses one star due to a few out of focus color photos.) Even the black and white photos are a valuable aid to identifying pieces. Photos, photos, photos!

5.0 out of 5 stars An Excellent Reference On Carnival Glass, May 30, 2001
By A Customer
This Edwards & Carwile Encyclopedia is an excellent reference book for the "Carnival Glass" enthusiast. It has clear color photos, large print, is alphabetically listed, has informative descriptions, and a detailed price list. I never go shopping for carnival glass without taking this book; it's a necessary shopping guide. I always find the piece shown, described, and priced in this book. SM
