About the Author
Robert Brown Butler is a registered architect with nearly 40 years of experience in commercial and residential design, with an emphasis on the use of natural materials and energy-efficient architecture. A graduate of the Cornell University School of Architecture, he has received a number of grants for his designs and holds two U.S. patents for architecturally-related inventions. He is the author of McGraw-HillÕs Architectural Engineering Calculations Manual and The Ecological House, published by Morgan & Morgan. Mr. Butler resides in Mahopac, New York.
