Submersible

Engineered for unparalleled reliability, the HORIZON QUEST exceed submersions of 3' for 30 minutes.

Digital Selective Calling

• The QUEST meets the Internationally recognized requirements for SC101 Digital Selective Calling. The DISTRESS function activates the unattended, continuous digital MAYDAY including vessel identification, Latitude / Longitude and time, to facilitate prompt response. Additional calls that can be made are Individual, Urgency, Safety, Position Request (reply only).

GPS Repeatability

• When connected to a GPS receiver the QUEST repeats Latitude and Longitude along with date and time on the radio display. This is a handy way of knowing you position when the radio and GPS are at different locations.

Huge LCD

• Visibility is enhanced with an enormous LCD with tall, wide digits and obvious information flags that are easy to identify. The LCD and keypad feature 3-step backlighting and 7 steps of LCD contrast adjustment.

NOAA Weather Alert, Programmable Scanning and Priority Scan

• QUEST highlights scanning of user selected channels or priority scanning of Channel 16. Additionally, QUEST features 10 NOAA weather channels including weather alert allowing QUEST to intercept frequency encoded Weather
