BUYER, BEWARE!,
This review is from: Standard Process Cataplex B (90 Tablets) (Health and Beauty)
Beware, buyers. I purchased a large amount of SP products only to find out that I have a wheat/gluten allergy. The bottles are labeled, "These products are processed in a facility that manufactures other products containing soy, milk, egg, wheat, peanut, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish." They are not something anyone with food allergies should take. Also, when I contacted customer support at Standard Process, they told me there was nothing that could be done to replace the vitamins with gluten-free versions. They said that they don't authorize the sale of these products through amazon.com so they can't verify that these products are actually their products. Of course they are their products! In addition to this, my sister was taking their protein shakes, and found out she, too, was allergic to wheat/gluten. Her "health care provider" that sold her the protein shakes actually told her to go ahead and keep taking the protein shakes, since the amount of gluten in them wouldn't hurt her. What an idiot! That's like telling someone with a peanut allergy that it's ok to have peanuts as long as it's in the product he's selling! This kind of dishonesty and dodging responsibility is frustrating to deal with. If they were truly interested in people's health, they would be more accommodating to those of us with food allergies. I won't buy their products again, and I might not even trust any "health care provider" that pushes these products for their own financial gain.
