The title cut of this CD, Standing In The Need of a Blessing will certainly minister to those who love traditional gospel music. The lead soloist (Debra Henderson) provides soul wrenching vocals typical of the selections found on her own solo recording, "Just Right For God".

THAT IS THE WORD THAT I THINK WHEN I LISTEN TO THE CD OR THE VIDEO. THE SONGS ON THE CUT WILL MINISTER TO YOUNG AND OLD ALIKE THAT LOVES TRADITIONAL GOSPEL MUSIC. STANDING IN THE NEED OF A BLESSING HAD ME IN TEARS AFTER I LISTENED TO IT BECAUSE WHILE I LISTENED TO THIS SONG, I REALIZED WHAT THE MESSAGE WAS AND THOUGHT ABOUT ALL THE BLESSINGS THAT HE HAS DONE FOR ME. ANOTHER SONG ON THE CD THAT INSPIRED ME WAS THE SONG LOVER OF MY SOUL BECAUSE THE LORD IN INDEED THE LOVER OF MY SOUL. THE OTHER SONGS ON THE TRACK IS ALSO AN INSPIRATION. THIS IS INDEED A TAPE THAT YOU NEED TO GET AND IT WILL BE MEMORABLE FOR DAYS TO COME...I THINK I MIGHT LISTEN TO THE CD TODAY. MAY GOD RICHLY BLESS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU.

This DVD does not show James Cleveland. He is not on it. So why is he on the cover? The cover is MISLEADING. Why pay for a DVD with people you do not know? If you want to see James Cleveland, I would recommend the Gospel Gospel (2002)Starring: James Cleveland, Walter Hawkins Director: David Leivick, Frederick A. Ritzenberg.
