A very interesting book,

This book gathers together a range of thoughtful responses to the PK phenomenon. I like the fact that the contributors sometimes disagree with each other. They represent different perspectives on what it means to keep promises, and whether such promises need be based in Christianity or might simply promote ethical ways of treating other people. Doubtless, there are strains of homophobia AND homoeroticism in the PK movement; and I don't buy their old-fashioned and rather patronizing ideas about motherhood. But it's good to see men thinking carefully about their lives and relationships. This book certainly pushes along that discussion in useful ways.
