Oh my! These guys were always good, but wow! "Standing Still in the USA" is bloody brilliant. Straight up, Raw rock...'Amphetamine Rifles' is an exceptioally strong track...Not only will these boys drink you under the table and steal your girlfriend, they'll rock your face off as well! Why isn't this record all over the radio?

This cd is great! It starts off strong with NYC, and continues all the way until the end, with Fruit Fly. Smothered in between these wonderful songs is my personal favorite, Amphetamine Rifles. The mastering of this album is superfluous, but where these guys really shine is in their live show. Ken Cook's lyrics balance out the hard-rock sound, Anthony's skillful guitar playing is matched only by Jimmy's bass skills. Mike Gill also shows lots of depth with his involved drumming. Stop reading this review, buy this CD, or better yet, see these guys next time they come to your town!
