Crampton has long been revered by Colorado Plateau fans for this hardbound classic, with its many black and white photos of key spots all over the area, and its old technicolored full-page shots of special scenes. Crampton knows his stuff, both in
history and in having put his boots on the ground he writes about. There's a glossy color reprint of Standing Up Country that's been issued, but it still can't compete with this early edition, dated as some of the info might be. |
