Can't both be true, so I wasn't sure which was accurate before I ordered it, so I ended up with a part that's slightly longer than what I wanted.
For future reference, the overall lengths ranges between 1.69" and 1.705" and the body lengths (part without the thread) range between 1.49" and 1.515" (Sample of 10).
Other than that, 3/16" aluminum nuts and bolts work fine on it.
The quality appears to be very good.
