This is a very well built box at an excellent price that could have been top of the list, but they messed it up. It's sturdy, has storage in the lid, and has a sturdy latch. But for some reason they narrowed down the bottom to under 6" which made it too small to fit my ratchet set. I decided to keep it for other uses and ordered another tool box. If you don't have larger size items to keep in it go ahead and buy it. It just boggles the mind why they narrowed the bottom this much.

As my title states, before purchasing this tool box you should make sure all your tools will fit in it. I wish i had done some measuring and/or planning because all of my tools won't fit in this perfectly. My hammer sticks out slightly, because the tray handle won't let you put the hammer in the middle. The picture is not incorrect, and thats why i didn't rate this poorly.

i gave 4 stars because it seems like less durable than the toolboxes my dad owned when i was growing up. I always remember being able to stand on a toolbox for an extra few inches of height. I can still stand on a few, but i would be very hesitant to stand of this. thats my toolbox test... Can you stand on it? NO.

I received this tool box today and I'm using it to store firearms shooting supplies. It has two little compartments on the lid, perfect for storing small bottles of CLP, snap caps, and other small items (bore brush, etc). I store tools inside the removable tray, and then larger items in the main body of the box. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

It's a great tool box, I wish they made an 18" though. 20" was going to be too big, I had to do some creative manuevering to get all the items in there I wanted. Overall I can't be too upset, it was a great deal.

12-1-13. Well built toolbox with a positive steel lockable latch. The liftout tray is notched to fit aroung the latch so it only goes into the box in one direction. The box was not a large as I expected as the ridge for the tray makes it wider than the lower storage area and the two storage areas in the lid take up a lot of room above the tray. Useful for a few tools and supplies but not big enough for any large tools. The lid storage compartments have a divider so they are useful for only small items, such as screws, connectors or such, but not big enough for even a small set of allen wrenches. I'll keep it, but will also buy the larger Stanley STST19410 19-Inch Toolbox.

This is used for my bike tools. It is durable enough for that purpose. I have alot of room for the few tools I have for that purpose. It won't rust.

I have no complaints. It is just what I expected it to be. This is the best tool box you will get for the price.

This is my first toolbox, and I have to say, it is everything I was looking for. The two storage bins on top are the perfect size AND they latch tightly and open easily. I had a tool set with extra bits for a screwdriver and this was perfect for those. I don't have too many tools yet, but I was able to easily fit all of them with plenty of room to grow. Great piece of gear. Not broken or poorly made. If you're looking for an excellent, compact, sturdy box for your tools, this is the one.

I purchased this tool box because my tools were in need of a new one. It has been perfect for me and my wife, because we have average sized and number of tools. They fit pretty good and the two tray boxes on top come in pretty handy. It is sturdy for the price, but I think if you put inside a lot of heavy and super-sized tools it will bend.
I definitely recommend this product to someone who needs to store tools but doesn't have lots of them. Good for starters

Toolbox was perfect size for my needs. The only problem was that I needed to attach a lock through the lock hole that's located on the box, but it was too small. No problem though, since the box is made out of a plastic material I just took a drill and opened up the hole a little bit. Scuffed up the tool box when doing so (should've been more careful), but it is a tool box after all; it's gonna get roughed up a bit.
