I agree with Athos. This is most certainly a saw and it saws things rather well. Unlike the other review, I have not used this to saw metal yet, but it certainly does a fine job on other materials, like hardened plastic, rubber, and silicone. Those weak materials didn't stand a chance! Five stars.

Kudos for Amazon for their packaging techniques. I bought this for automotive use, and I too received this saw in an extra-large box. Once I removed the five miles of bubble packing material, I was able to park my car inside and use it as a makeshift garage. I've since donated it to a local school which is using it as an amphitheater shell for their summer production of Hamlet.

What can I say? It's a saw. It saws stuff. The best thing about it was the GIANT packaging this came in. I mean, wow! It was a small refrigerator box. Me and my two dogs got in there an played Frisbee for a while. It was amazing.

I used this saw to saw some metal. It worked! Why I used an exclamation mark there I have no idea. It's a hack saw and it's supposed to saw metal. So, it worked. Better?

the rubber handle makes it easier, the adjustable clips allow the use of different size blades.

Bought it solely for the purpose of cutting my OEM exhaust system off so i can put my Gibson Performance Exhaust in. Worked great, cut through the metal with some effort. Gotta have some muscle though lol

Knocked one star off because the cutting blade seemed flimsy and wabbled while cutting, i honestly thought it would break BUT it did get the job done damn near perfectly! Totally worth the $$$
