Each blade is forged from high-quality cutlery grade steel and is heat treated, beveled, and polished with identification on handle for quick selection. They include heavy-duty strike caps crowned for centering blows and durability.
Product Description
One-length, short-series blades are made of high-quality Sheffield steel for exceptional strength and control. Hardened and tempered to 58-60HRC for outstanding cutting edge durability and electrophoretic lacquered for corrosion protection. Sizes are etched into each precision-ground blade. Impact- and shatter-resistant handles are made of durable cellulose acetate, each with a steel striking cap to withstand steel hammer blows. Limited lifetime warranty.

I've been using the Stanley chisels for several months and have no complaints. They are durable and well made. They bite (which is a good thing). The handles are well made and will not fall apart like cheaper stuff.
