First off, don't listen to the guy that says this mug doesn't keep your drinks hot. I used this cup for hot coffee everyday for 3 months and I was impressed how long it stayed hot. Maybe not 'Hot' for 6 hours, but mine kept a decent temp. for 4 hours and would then taper off to warm, which isn't bad. Also it's not a perfect fit for your average bike cage, but that is pretty common among mugs and easily fixed with a strap or padding (or a different cage). For those of you that drink coffee and have had issues with mold in the lid on other mugs, you will be glad to know that this lid disassembles and cleans easily. My main gripe about this mug is that I accidentally dropped it a measly 2 feet and that was enough to crack the plastic lid, which rendered the mug unusable. However ... I called Stanley and was able to order a new lid for $3 + $2.something shipping, so I paid $5 for my clumsiness ... I'll take it.

This is by far the best coffee mug I have ever used. It is spill proof, keeps my coffee hot for hours, is easy to use, is bomb proof, and oh ya the best part, it fits in my bike cage! It is worth every penny!

Maybe it was the packaging it arrived in but I was not so impressed with the Mug as the reviews suggested. It came in a dirty plastic bag and felt like it was part of someone's garage collection that they dug out to sell.

While it carried the heat pretty well it probably went cold in around 3 hours rather than the longer period others have stated.

So overall it was ok.

I had considered this mug previously, but the cost had deterred me. Recently my Starbucks travel mug finally wore out and so this was my choice for a replacement.
My requirements were it had to insulate well and be very secure and water tight. I often commute on a motorcycle and grab my latte/mocha etc on the way into work. And so it sits in my side cases while I am riding. I certainly do not want coffee and milk spilling all over everything. This Stanley mug is not just sturdy but also secure. I tested it for several days before trusting it in my side cases. That meant laying it on its side often. Tipping it over and being less then careful. After that test I felt comfortable throwing it on my cases while it was full. It has held up well in this short period of time, well enough for me to give it an excellent rating.
I also appreciate the fact that the lid can quickly be disassembles and cleaned.
As for insulation, the other day I was driving around eastern Washington in 95 degree heat. There was an iced latte in my Stanley, inside the car. The car was sitting in the hot sun for several hours and when I came back, I still had ice in the mug. I am not sure how they do it, as the walls are pretty thin. But it definitely insulates. And with a lifetime guarantee, I feel it was a good purchase.

Works as expected, awesome color, extremely durable, fits great in my backpack water holder. As i write this review, my coffee from 4.5 hrs ago is still hot.

I use this on a daily basis for coffee and it keeps it quite warm for hours. It's pretty easy to clean, the fiddly bits on the top come apart very easily. The exterior seems quite durable, and I haven't had any issues with it.

My only concern, which isn't really a concern, is that the "grit guard" on the top is of questionable usefulness. It's easy to knock it off accidentally, but as long as you remain mindful of that it isn't a problem.

I do love my coffee, but typically hate most tumbler type mugs. They are either too "decorated", too delicate or make a mess. This one is none of those things, and looks rather great to boot. Buy it, use it, and enjoy.

Excellent mug. Keeps coffee hot for many hours, especially if you preheat the mug first with boiling water. Only down side is that the shipping for a replacement top or gasket seal cost more than the items themselves. I got nearly 2 years out of mine before the top needed replacing due to a leak around the liquid release button and a leaky gasket. Still, a very good mug. I'd buy it again despite the negatives.
