The Stanley 35-Foot Powerlock Tape Rule provides positive blade lock without creeping while taking measurements. A special Tru-Zero hook does double-duty as a pivot for drawing circles and arcs, and a three-rivet, corrosion-resistant hook moves for accurate inside and outside measurements. The tape blade measures 35-foot-by-1-inch with a 7-foot tape standout.

To simplify framing jobs, the bright yellow, easy-to-read blade has 16-inch and 19.2-inch stud center markings. This chrome-plated metal tape rule comes with Stanley's limited lifetime warranty.

I have owned far too many tapes in my life. And I have thrown a couple to near world record distances. I believe I will try to hang on to this one for a while. It is tough,reliable,and quiet handy. I am in the metal building trade and on many occasion will need to make a quick measurement of 30+ ft.It beats dragging out the tape reel hands down. If only Stanley made the Fat Max in a 35'model. It might take a wheel barrow to haul it around, but I believe it would sure be handy. As for now, this one will do.

As a carpenter for 15 years, most houses I build are over 30ft.
in one direction or another. The length of the tape is critical for most work done on the job. The Stanley 35' tape is durable, rigid, and is the tape of my choice since Stanley made them a few years ago. The stanley 35' tape helps me from having to go get a bigger tape. If you want the job done right get a Stanley 35' tape measure.

I am a construction superintendant for a pool company. I use my tape for quick measurements maybe 5-10 times a day. This tape was great for about a week, then is started to get sticky. After another week it split lengthwise and caused a pretty nice cut on my finger when it was retracting.

I thought this was a good deal, I learned my lesson and will be going back to the more expensive tapes.
