I wanted a spare plier set to keep in the kitchen, and this is perfect. Much better made than the cheap no-name imports, though not professional quality. Perfect for the do-it-your-selfer who needs a decent tool every now and then.

This trio is an excellent basic set for the homeowner. The handles are well insulated, the teeth of the tools actually meet as do the cutting edges. For the price, this is a solid value.

For the price this is a good buy. I received the tools and am happy with the quality. This, as mentioned in the other review, is a "spare" set and will serve perfectly!

I just have to say that I don't even know how long I've had this little tool set, but it seems like I've had them forever. These tools are excellent for the price, and can be used on a wide variety of projects, whether just around the house or for the outdoors. I've used the both the needlenose and the slip joint pliers many times, though typically when I was lacking just the right screwdriver or wrench and perfection wasn't an issue. They've rarely failed me. Both have an excellent grip on whatever you grab with them. The rubber grips on the handles aren't prone to slipping off, but are easy enough to slide right back on if this does happen anyway.

For the price, this is a worthy addition to any basic toolkit.

My daughter just bought a new home and am helping her start her own collection of tools. This was perfect set of useful pliers for her or anyone starting to gather useful tools.

They fit well in the hand -- are comfortably ergonomic, do the job well, and the yellow strip could help keep it visible in a crowded toolbox.

This set is designed for the homeowner, and one should realize that and buy them for around the house. My experience so far is that they hold up well and don't slip once set. Cut through most sized wires (up to #10 so far) and the jaws hold on well. Great for the homeowner and small contractor who can care for them.

This set is very useable for day to day repairs. Very firm and solid in the hands. The grips could have been designed a little more comfortable, but its definetly not that bad.

This set of three pliers is a quality product, at a reasonable price. They work well. They are a bit small, but fine for my uses. I have vowed not to buy any more cheapo tools, because you usually get what you pay for. I would recommend these tools.
