I bought this Stanley 3 piece drive extension set to reach down in our front lawn to fix a broken sprinkler valve stem. I went to our local Lowe's and they had an off-brand set for almost $20. I found this Stanley set on Amazon for about 1/2 the price. I was a little worried at first that these might not fit as tightly on my sockets since they were cheaper than the other set. I was very glad to be wrong! They fit nice and tight and seem very well built. They actually seem to fit better than my other drive extensions. I have had great luck with Stanley products in the past, and these just reaffirm for me how great their products are. In the end, this drive extension set did exactly what I needed them to, and the sprinkler is now fixed!

I bought these to give a longer extension to my current socket set. I have a Husky socket set that I intended to use these with, and they work, but they don't fit as snugly as the regular Husky extensions that I have do. That being said, they do work, and they work pretty well. The only problem I sometimes have is the socket will stay on the nut or spark plug when I go to pull the wrench off. In other words... the socket and extension will seperate when I pull the wrench off of something. Not a huge deal.

The quality and finish on these extensions were really nice. These were inexpensive, but worked flawlessly. They fit my sockets really snug (not to tight just perfect.) The only downside is they don't having the knurled surface like the GearWrench extensions do, to grip with your fingers to turn them quicker then a ratchet, but you could pick up some thin grip tape for them to be just as good.

As good as I could hope for. They look like they will hold up well. Chrome is nice and shiny, and the ends are well made. Only a slight amount of wiggle in the joints. It's a good deal for a versatile set.
