Stanley 90-391 SAE and Metric Folding Hex Key

Stanley doesn't seem to care much about their customers; not only are the sizes missing on Amazon, they are also missing on Stanley's own web site.

Here they are for each of the two tools you get:

SAE:
Side 1: 5/64, 3/32, 7/64, 1/8, 9/64, 5/32
Side 2: 3/16, 7/32, 1/4

Metric:
Side 1: 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4
Side 2: 5, 6, 8


I haven't used it yet but don't see any obvious problems, other than having to wipe off the grease from each of the keys.

You should be getting a pair of hex keys...one for metric and another for inches.Stanley produces the best tools & this is no exception. Now people like me don't have to worry about losing another hex key. One caution though: The hex keys don't detach.If u intend to use it in tight spaces, it's going to be hard to maneuver.

This is a good product for a good price. It's from Stanley so you know it's quality. However, as another reviewer noted, you get two separate sets, one metric and one SAE, not 17 in 1 as the title would have you believe. No problem, I'd rather them be separate; 17 in 1 would be too bulky.

The best thing about these (there's 1 SAE frame, and 1 Metric frame) is that each key just flips out from the frame, and the frame has the size marked on the frame.

So they're all always in one place, and you never have to go through half of them trying to see which one fits.

As any good handy man knows, you need to have allen keys/hex keys whatever you want to call then, in your tool box. I bought these about a year and a half ago and the bolts that hold them together had fallen apart. After using them time after time, you have to make sure that the bolts holding these keys together are tight or they will come loose and it is very, did I mention very, very easy to lose. I repaired both sets after losing the nuts to the bolts by putting a tie wrap/zip tie through the hole where the bolt goes. Walla, problem solved, now I dont have to worry about losing they keys anymore. I do like the grip though. You just have to watch with those small bolts that hold this thing together.

These were a great buy. Work great, heavy duty and both metric and standard sets.

Decent product and has the most common, but not all, Allen wenches in one small neat product. You dont have to worry about losing one either. However it isn't perfect turning and using it is a little cumbersome. It's hard to explain but i will say it will take longer to screw or unscrew then using other individual Allen wenches. It's not perfect but considering the price and the fact u get 2 of them, why complain?

I am glad to orders this set. It's hard to find bike tools here in Bahrain that is affordable.

Includes most of the sizes I need. Great for when I am outdoors and don't want to worry about losing individual keys. Only downsides are the bolts can loosen and if you are tightened a lot of stuff or at weird angles, you will still need a traditional hex key set.

Product was received promptly and was as advertized -perhaps too much protective packaging. Well design and useful product - won't be losing keys.
