A must have....but with one mod,
By One word of warning, and the reason I dropped a star rating, if carrying panels up stairs be careful as the panels, especially plywood, tend to slide. I used double faced tape to apply an old sanding belt which provided plenty of friction to prevent sliding. Aside from that, buy this thing and save yourself from possible injury.

Provides just enough length for grabbing the bottom of a 4'x8' sheet (in lieu of longer arms) so one person can carry it. Sturdy enough to lift 3/4" 7-ply birch plywood (pretty heavy). It's made of heavy duty plastic, so it doesn't add a lot of weight to what you're lifting.
