Customer Reviews

It would jump a lawn mower & small car, but not a pickup truck.

I frequently leave my headlights on all day and run down my battery, so I got one of these.

I have never had a problem with any pump inflating these tires except this Stanley pump.

My daughter has one of these because her husband felt it was a good thing for her to have, when her battery died and she was stuck 2 hours waiting for a tow truck. She has used it numerous times for things like pumping up a trailer tire, jump starting their riding lawnmower with it, charging up her cell phone in a power outage, and tonight we just used it again during a five hour power outage as our main source of light. It has a 12 volt cigarette lighter style socket, a USB and wall outlet power source. We can't find anything bad to say about this little unit and I am going to buy one of these for myself when I return home. We Love this unit!!!!

I bought two of these units about one year ago. One is still functioning. The other failed after 3 months. .500 is a good batting average if you are a baseball player but not so for consumer products. I will not buy another nor recommend the product.

Overall I like it, documentation is sparse, LCD readout is very nice, my main complaint it it does not come with a 12V adaptor so it can be charged form a car 12V outlet.

This thing didn't hold a charge, the digital readout didn't work and it overheated so fast the 120AC outlet was useless.

DO NOT BUY! YOU CAN NOT RETURN IF IT IS A PIECE OF CRAP!

Bought it in Feb 2011. It would jump a lawn mower & small car, but not a pickup truck. Used for a while airing tires but by July 2012 the battery went completely dead & the power adapter (that charges the unit) went bad. Replaced the adapter & it still won't charge.

I have a 'Power on Board' 450 amp Jump-Start, that was purchased in 2005 for $45 that is still working good. I wish I could find another like it (even at twice the original price).

Don't waste your money on this Stanley product.

I frequently leave my headlights on all day and run down my battery, so I got one of these. It worked great a few times, but I found it was hard to turn on, the button often didn't register a 'push'. After having had it around for a few months I also realized that it turns itself on at random intervals and beeps. It is really annoying. Wish I had gotten a different one.

It completely stopped working in just over a year. I only used it a few times and always stored it indoors.

My truck battery died and so decided to invest in one of these for emergency uses. Product arrived a couple days later and when I went to jump start my truck all this unit did was to give a open circuit error. I eventually ended up borrowing and using a good'ol jumper cable and the truck started up on the first crank. I tried this product on another car I had which still had a good battery to see if I just got a defective unit but no open circuit error with that one. So this was giving a false 'open circuit' error, and maybe the truck battery was "too" dead? Whatever the reason, it sort of defeats the whole purpose of having this if it can't do a simple jump start. I should have listened to all the bad reviews. But once again, Amazon proved itself and got a refund with a simple painless call to customer service.
