Stanley wishes he could spend more time with his dad. Maybe if he had a lion for a father, then he'd have someone to play with all day long! But after spending time with a lion family, Stanley realizes he does have the best dad in the whole world.

Stanley Learns to Appreciate His Daddy, and Lions,
By George Buttner "Agent0042" (Dayton, Ohio United States) - See all my reviews (VINE VOICE) (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Stanley: Daddy Lion - Book #7 (Playhouse Disney) (Paperback)
"Daddy Lion" is one of a set of "Stanley" television series books. This one is based on the TV story "Daddy Pride." In this story, Stanley is upset because his Daddy won't play with him all the time. He decides that he's going to get a lion to be his father. It'll be great -- he'll have somebody to play lion with all the time. Dennis, however, doesn't think that this is a great idea. He joins Stanley for a trip into "The Great Big Book of Everything" where Stanley learns that living with lions isn't exactly what he thought it was.
The "Stanley" series does it again. Another great story sure to entertain and inform fans of the show. The book comes with a page of facts about lions, as well as a "count the lions" game.
