It cleaned my siding very well. However, the box boasted a "quick connect" part was included -- a $10 Value! It made me think that was something extra but turns out you have to have it to connect the water hose to the unit. The first time I used it, that part broke and I had to get a double-threaded connection from a hardware store. Customer service (and I use the term loosely) said they would send me a replacement but would not reimburse me for my purchase. I didn't really have the option of waiting for them to send me a new part since I had someone at my house doing the washing. There is a brass quick connect that you can buy which is probably a good idea. I'm hoping the unit will work next season when I use it again. I bought it because it was a Stanley brand which I thought would be durable.

Their customer service was certainly not the best I've had.

I suggest you avoid this product, based on my bad experience (time and money wasted) with this product due to its low quality.

I bought this power washer two months ago. The model seems to have everything I need, though the review was not good. My machine stopped working after several uses. After investigating, I found the special PLASTIC connector to the hose pine was cracked. No water went into the power wash and the motor would not start. It is a tricky problem. I called the customer service and was asked to send the part back for check before a new one could be sent to me. The customer service admitted that that part is easy to break, and it is more expensive and slower to deal with them than to buy one directly online at YOUR own cost. I can buy a copper one, which is supposed to last longer (why not give customer a copper one at the very first place!). I hope my machine could resume working after the new part arrives. I also hope that I will still have enough time to finish my project before the temperature drops too low.

IT works like charm, without single problem for me to wash a two stories house siding.

Two nozzles and a brushes, so far, the brushes seems no use yet.

No leak . Will update if found later.

The high presure pipe somewhat stiff, but still works fine.

Believe all those 1 and 2 star reviews. Here's why:

I have owned this for two years. The first year was great. It wasn't quite as powerful as I thought it would be, but it was good on grime, which was my main reason for getting it - cleaning steps, etc. But it was not at all effective on dried paint around my garage, which my neighbor's gas-powered power washer handled easily. But ok, I went with a cheaper solution and got something not quite as effective as the expensive ones - no surprise and I was satisfied. At that point, I would have given this a three or 4 star review.

The next season, I took it out, started washing my car and got about 10 minutes into it and the motor stopped working. So I went through all the different troubleshooting tips the manual has - checking the plug, switching outlets, checking filters, water supply, letting it cool off. Nothing worked. I waited a few days, went through all the troubleshooting tips again, still nothing. Now, it sits in my garage holding down a stack of leaf bags in the corner. I paid $189 to get clean steps, a partially cleaned car and a paperweight.

I saw the good reviews, too, and trusted them when I made my purchase. Take it from me: Don't. Go buy something else.

For the issue of the motor not turning on, sometimes this is due to a clogged wand, your supply voltage is below the minimum requirement, or the GFCI may need to be reset.

Please contact customer service so we may be able to assist you. Depending on the age of the unit and the type of cleaner used, cleaning may not always work. We can assist you in getting replacement accessories and parts or a replacement unit if a manufacturing defect is found.

We purchased this pressure washer when we bought our new home, basically needing it for normal household use, spray siding, driveway, patios, roof...works great but wish it had a longer hose, we have many tall peaks on our house & couldn't reach the highest ones to spray the moss off the roof. Also needs a better tool storage spot, seems like there's not enough places for all the tools. But all in all a good product for the price

I bought and used this power washer two years ago, and it did a good job of cleaning my three year old 12' x 16' trex deck, and a 6' x 6' concrete landing at the edge of the deck. However it took about 6 hours because the edge of the wand had to be slowly moved just a couple of inches above the trex deck and the concrete landing in order to clean the surfaces. The water spray was only about an inch wide, so using the washer was equivalent to painting the deck and landing with a very slow moving 1 inch wide paint roller.

Last year, the deck was still pretty clean so I just scrubbed it with a stiff broom and some detergent. I had stored the Stanley Washer in a dry, warm, attached garage and took it out to clean the deck yesterday.

I attached the hoses and turned on the water full blast then turned the unit on. As soon as the motor engaged it turned off a quarter of a second later. The unit never lost electricity at the outlet, which is the same outlet I have used before and use for my snow blower and electric mower. The circuit breaker on the washer plug never went off. Just the motor which made a single chug then turned off.

Couldn't find any problems with the water lines, etc. There were no water leaks. Never even got to pull the trigger on the wand. This type of condition is not even mentioned in the manual trouble shooting. Tried a dozen times with the exact same result, one chug then nothing, then gave up.

Can't recommend this unit. Don't think I will ever buy another Stanley power tool.
