It takes a lot to completely please me with most products, but this one has done it. It is WAY WAY WAY Bright! Much brighter than my HID suv headlights. The manual does not go into enough depth on a few items, but a quick phone call to Technical Services answered all my questions. The Technician was VERY courteous and intelligent It also comes with a power cable (Well built) that can be plugged into a cigarette lighter in a vehicle. This bypasses the internal SLA battery and powers the light 100% by the vehicle. I think the price is appropriate considering the super unit that it is.

I was so impressed with the Stanley 5 Watt LED spotlight that I bought this one as well to see if it was just as good. This thing is ridiculously bright! I live on the the top of a very large hill and there is a stop sign at the bottom of the hill. I shined this light at it and it lit it up like I was standing right next to it. Oh yeah, the stop sign is over 2 miles away!!! If you have a need for a well made, POWERFUL spotlight, buy this light now. For the money, nothing even comes close.

The light is a nice 'warm' light compared to the LED 'cool' light so it's not as hard on your eyes. It's very bright and has a good distance. Nice ergo design. It's not real heavy but it's not a flashlight, so it's gonna weigh more.

The only con I have is that the charge doesn't last very long. It comes with a car charger so that does help but I use it when camping/hunting, so it would be great if the charge lasted longer. I'm looking into a portable charger to help.

For the price I paid, would definitely recommend this product.

A well built product in a smaller, very usable size. I love H.I.D. lamps (I have them in all of my vehicles) and this is a great, fast powerup portable lamp with a good lifetime. It also charges quickly, which is a great asset. So far, so good. A good product.

Update...Mine lasted about 6 months and burned up inside. Don't bother with this piece of crap! The internal components have to stand up to high voltage and to do that over time requires a quality design. Hint" there is no way provided to get to the bulb.

The HID spotlight is very bright, and seems to last quite a while on a single charge. I don't use the light for more than 3-5 minutes at a time, but I use it almost every day; and I only charge it once a week or less. The light is very heavy duty and rugged. It's pretty heavy, but the wrist strap that comes with it helps to take some of the strain, so it feels much lighter when its held with the strap on your wrist.

I use the light at night, when I let my dogs outside. If they don't come when I call them, I light up the back yard (which is a couple acres) and there is NO WERE for them to hide with this light. I occasionaly light up the corn field next to my house, and it shines like the sun on this 10 acre field. It's cool to see some of the wild life, that I was oblivious too (mostly deer).

For the price, this light can't be beat. I've been using it for about two months, and so far there have been no problems what so ever. If you're debating whether or not you should buy this... You should!

Yes it is a bit heavy and big, but it provides an extremely powerful light. I bought two for my ranch and this cuts through the darkness better than one of those police lights. Basically it is a portable spotlight and the distance it shines is very nice. However, it is a beam and not adjustable, so not good for trying to light up a wide area.

I would have given it 5-stars but the first one I owned lasted only about a year. The failure was not fixable, so I had to buy new lights. I am hoping these last longer. However, the light works well.

Maybe I'm just unlucky, but with the first unit I received, the spotlight would not charge with the AC charger. I tried the car charger, and that got it charged up and the spotlight would work, but not the LED area lights on top, or the battery indicator light. I liked the light it did give out (when working), so I sent it back for a replacement. At least Amazon has a good return process, and I received the replacement unit very quickly. This time the AC charger worked and I tried it out one night. Everything seemed to be working. But the next night I used it, the indicator light was green, then without any warning, the spotlight suddenly went out and the indicator light flashed red. Altogether, both nights, I had not used the spotlight for more than ten minutes. I tried recharging it again until the indicator light was green. But when I unplugged it and tried the spotlight, it still would not work and flashed red. So another DUD!!! Now I'm having to send this one back too ... for a refund this time. Two defective units in a row is just too much. It may be a gamble, buying this spotlight, as to whether or not you get one that works. Good Luck.

Followed all the directions for charging time, etc. Tried to use the spotlight the following night, but got nothing but 3 bursts of light, then nothing. The 3 little lights on top work fine, but the spotlight won't work. Gonna swap it out to see if it's just a fluke.
UPDATE: Received replacement-worked great for about 8 months then just quit. No warranty honored. I will throw mine away and find a better one. My opinion: another Made In China piece of junk.

I was blown away with the light output of this lamp. A very pure white light that pierces the night! However, it took only about 3 weeks of occasional use and the area lights stopped working. Then the primary light trigger button became intermittent.

On a positive note, Amazon's response time to my problem was lightning quick and I recieved the replacement unit before I had a chane to ship back the defective one! AWESOME SERVICE!!!

Here's to hoping the new lamp is a bit more robust
