About the Author
STANLEY NEWMAN, a giant in the worlds of puzzles and trivia, is a prolific author and editor of books in both areas, the editor of Newsday's nationally-syndicated crossword, and the creator of puzzles for BusinessWeek and People. He lectures at the Smithsonian, runs trivia tournaments, and hosts puzzle cruises. He has written or edited more than 80 books, including the best-selling Random House Reference title 10,000 Answers: The Ultimate Trivia Encyclopedia.
