Product Description

Amazon.com Product Description

Your hammer has just become obsolete. The Stanley SFRN350 Round-Head Framing Nailer will shoot nails ranging from 2 inches to 3-1/2-inches long through the hardest, gnarliest construction lumber you could possibly imagine. And all it takes is a simple squeeze of the trigger. The tool’s angled magazine allows nailing in tight spaces; it holds up to 64 plastic-collated round-head nails. The full round-head nails provide superior holding power over the clipped-head nails used by some framing nailers.

The tool has a working air-pressure range of 70 to 120 pounds per square inch, and it features a non-marring rubber tip, adjustable depth setting and handy toe-nailing teeth that prevent the tool from slipping while toe nailing. At just over 7 pounds, this tool isn’t exactly light, but it does weigh less than comparable framing nailers.

The SFRN350 is specifically designed for nailing together 2-by lumber, but it can also be used for fastening plywood sheathing, siding, fencing, decking, and solid bridging.--Joseph Truini

From the Manufacturer

The Stanley 22-degree Round-Head Framing Nailer has all the features a professional needs. Check out its features such as the 360-degree exhaust deflector or the easy-access depth adjustment located on the front nose of the tool. It also comes with a no-mar removable rubber foot to protect the work surface (like on deck floors where the nail head will be visible) and aggressive toe-nailing teeth for gripping the lumber slip-free when doing angle shots like toe-nailing. The cushioned rubber grips provide extra comfort and less fatigue on those long, tough jobs. Weighing only 7 lbs., you can fire this tool all day long, overhead, sideways, upside down, whatever you need to do. The magazine holds 64 plastic collated round-head nails and will fire these same type of nails from 2 to 3-1/2-inches. It’s working pressure is from 70 to 120 psi. Here’s a good tip for any pneumatic tool: find the lowest setting on your compressor that will fire the tool, set it, and forget it. The tool and compressor will last longer. This tool is perfect for building/constructing fences, decks, stud walls, joists, sheathing, and many other applications.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent framing nailer, March 3, 2006
This review is from: Stanley SFRN350 Round Head 2-inch to 3-1/2-Inch Framing Nailer (Tools & Home Improvement)
I just completed framing my basement. It is 1100 square feet and I used around 200 2x4s to complete the job. I had absolutely no issues with this nailer, it performed wonderfully. I have a 150 psi 6 gallon compressor and it had to switch on about every 8 to 10 nails I shot. It uses round head nails and is 21 degrees, this is different then some nailers so I had fewer options for nails to purchase, but was able to get a box of 4000 (more than enough) for around $35 from a local hardware store. For the price, it is an excellent nail gun, and I would recommend it.

This review is from: Stanley SFRN350 Round Head 2-inch to 3-1/2-Inch Framing Nailer (Tools & Home Improvement)
I used the gun to frame my basement and it could not have worked better. The gun is light and easy to use. Nails were easy to find for it also. I would highly recommend this to any do-it-yourselfer.
