I read this book for a college music history class and was sorry after I got rid of it. I'm glad I found it. Easy to read, not too technical,a dn interesting. Sadie was an expert on music and it shows. He covers most of the "big" composers and several lesser known ones. It's a good book to own fo those of you interested in music history or just the piece your now listening to.
