Designed to give novice DJs everything they need to learn the tricks of the trade, the Stanton Spin Cycle Pak is an affordable entry-level solution. The bundle starts with a pair of STR8-30 direct-drive turntables, each of which includes a skip-resistant, straight tonearm; a strobe indicator; and a selectable pitch control range of +/-10 percent. The turntables function well in mixing and battling environments, delivering reliable, solid sound and efficient performance.

Next up in the Spin Cycle Pak is Stanton's SMX-201 two-channel mixer, which offers gain controls and two-band equalizers for each channel, making it easy to match levels and adjust the tone. The mixer, which includes two phono and two line inputs, also boasts a mic channel with a two-band equalizer, user-replaceable faders, and a cue section with cue level and cue pan functions.

To add to a DJ's competition chops, the turntables come with premounted 500B cartridges. Offering an ideal balance of reliability, ruggedness, and performance, the cartridges excel at everything from studio use to the mobile scene. The 500Bs are particularly suited to beginners, as they're durable enough to hold up to rough use.

Rounding out the Spin Cycle Pak is a pair of lightweight DJ Pro 10 headphones, which feature a unique earcup and neckband design; two slipmats and two dustcovers for the turntables; and all the appropriate connecting cables.

Awesome price for 2 turntables a mixer, especially for begginers. The actual turntables are alright but the mixer was absolutely terrible. The turntables dont have that much torque but still enough for scratching and beatjuggling. One weird thing i noticed though is that 1 table is a bit slower at -10 pitch than the other but overall its a good deal.

Yo, in this dj package the STR8-30b turntables are great. With there direct drive motors and their 10% pitch control these turntables will last for years. They work great for scrating or just playin a record. The mixer that comes with this package also rules. It has every thing you need like the mic input ans the low and high control for both chanels. The crossfader isn't the best but it works. So if you are starting dj work than I would get this. STANTON RULES!!!

The turntables are great for the beginner DJ and are good enough to start scratching and practicing beat juggling. If you get good with these you will be incredible on some better decks. The mixer was not good at all really but it works and you can always upgrade with the money you saved by buying this pack in the first place.
