This is the perfect solution to having my Bar in the basement and serving drinks upstairs when we have company, also great to take clean glasses back to the bar.
It is heavy duty and best of all is the slip proof surface. I wish I'd gotten a bigger one! (next time!)

These are restaurant-style and good quality trays, very useful (I am using them under cat water fountains currently). However, they have quite a strong smell at first! I guess it's the rubber coating - smells like shoe polish. I aired them in the garage a couple days, then put them through the dishwasher (didn't have any problem although I just noted another reviewer said they're not dishwasher safe). The smell seems to have dissipated. Oddly, the 16" Stanton tray I also ordered didn't have the aroma issue. Anyway, it's a good tray at a good price, just give it time if you're sensitive to smell.

I have had this tray for less than a week and it already has a one inch crack through the rim. I was surprised. I did not notice any crack upon arrival. I had only used it a couple days for carrying food. The tray was not dropped or otherwise abused to cause the crack. I don't think any food on the tray was too hot. And I haven't yet done more than wipe it off to clean it. I haven't owned it long enough. I wonder if the crack will continue to grow. I worked ten years as a waitress and have seen trays that held up for years. Disappointing.
