Soul Awakening!,
This review is from: The Star-Borne: A Rememberance for the Awakened Ones (Paperback)
Reading the Starborne was like having my life validated...For so many years I felt so alone as if there was nobody else who could understand the seemingly strange occurances in my life. Always dismissed as having an over active imagination, I felt isolated and completely misunderstood. But reading Solara's words brought tears to my eyes in the realization that I in fact am NOT alone and that there are many who experience the same things. If you feel you come from another dimension, youll find great comfort in this book. Its truly Spirit on paper.

Transformational & reassuring...,

This review is from: The Star-Borne: A Rememberance for the Awakened Ones (Paperback)
This book took me by surprise. Never expected to see in print what's been haunting me in my dreams... Strange... and wonderful... Not everyone will understand it. It's not meant to be "analyzed" or "discussed" - just a quiet whisper or reassurance, something that will make one's soul smile and nod in recognition...

A Breakthrough book, becoming dated,

This is an interesting book and a marker in time, from 1989, for many developments that came later. The book is party poetry, large part channeled information, and little part exercises. The author believes that we are, at least many of us, stars and/or parts of the great Golden Angel working with the third dimension. Oh, and that our higher selves are really angels too. Meh.The book does get off to a slow start. It's up until page 72 that we get beyond the intros and autobiographic necessities and get into some real information. This book does bring up topics developed by others including the waves of volunteers we later see in Dolores Cannons work as in The Three Waves of Volunteers and the New Earth and the concept of special children 'Star Children' aka Indigo Children as coined by Nancy Ann Tappe in 1982. This book is also an important marker in the history of the New Age movement for those reasons and more. At that time most folks had been through the self-help movements of the 70's and 80's, real metaphysics of the New Age was just getting into high gear after decades of not much beyond Edgar Cayce and other channeled texts, pyramid power, and the like. So this book begins to take us beyond a kind of slow point in the uptick of metaphysics to begin to deliver concepts that were new and somewhat integratable. Later into the book we get some different views of Archangel Mikael, Uriel, a doman called Og-Ming, and the gnome king Dromedrill. It's all an 'interesting' set of tales. The 'Antarion Conversion' is one of the more interesting concepts in the book of many. But there is some lack of organization in the book. The concept of having been stars or angels is retold at least two different times in the book when, if adequately done, could have been a single. There is great emphasis placed on Harmonic Convergence of 1987 organized by Joe (aka Jose) Arguelles of The Mayan Factor: Path Beyond Technology fame. Lately Solara is very much into 11:11 portal activations and the like. There are legions of people that go to her events around the planet. I could see this as an interesting read for someone in the early to mid stages of the spiritual or metaphysical path. The lack of organization and more nuanced delivery which would rely less on poetic or incomplete references, may leave those looking to add tools and understanding to their mojo kit a little let down. As it is you have to do heavy parsing and gleaning to pull out the gems in here. Finally, keep in mind that this is Solara's paradigm, her story, her vision, her reality. Hopefully you will use what she says and find out your own. |
