I'm giving this kit a good review simply because to the best of my knowledge, it's the only model kit of the falcon that gives you a interior that other wise you would have to scratch build if you wanted one. Given the age of when the model was originally produced the quality and detail are pretty good. The kit also has a lot of flash (excess casting plastic from manufacturing) that needs to be removed from the parts. An advanced modeler could easily bring this model to life and make up for any flaws. It gives you a good basis to work with, and it's big! It's size makes it very easy to work with, modify, or for the addition of detailed related parts. I was very impressed with the amount of interior and interior detail this kit gives you for the money. I was however dissapointed that there was no interior for the top and bottom quad cannon stations. In summery, advanced modeling skills helpful to make this a great model, but it is a fine example of the falcon as is.
