Stunning,
A Kid's Review

I'm a girl nine years old (my father is posting this review for me), and I loved this book. I can hardly wait for the next one (Fire Dreamer). I like this book because there is magic involved, I like the characters, and the main character (a girl) cares about what's inside people and not their outsides. I'd like to be more like her. There are some words in the book that I didn't understand right away (I'm in fourth grade), but I could still figure them out (not that hard, then). I really couldn't stop reading this book, which is good, because I read it all on a flight from Hong Kong to San Francisco. I am probably going to read it again.
